Insurance Update
The only insurance we accept at this time is CareFirst and BC/BS.
After careful evaluation and consideration, our practice has made the decision to transition to a non-insurance model. Beginning immediately, we will no longer accept dental insurance.
This decision was not made lightly and was reached after extensive review of the current insurance reimbursement structure. Since 2014, reimbursement rates have not increased, despite continuous communication and negotiation with insurance carriers. In light of these ongoing challenges and other contributing factors, we determined that this change is necessary to maintain the level of excellence and personalized care that our patients expect and deserve.
What does this mean for you as our patient?
Full payment will be required at the time services are rendered. As a courtesy, our office will continue to submit claims directly to your primary dental insurance provider so that any eligible reimbursements are sent to you. If you have a secondary dental insurance plan, we will provide the appropriate documentation for you to submit your claim. Patients with out-of-network benefits will receive reimbursement directly from their insurance company.
We remain committed to providing high-quality and accessible dental care. Our fees are among, if not the most competitive, in the area, helping to minimize overall costs for both insured and uninsured patients.
